MC Soul food never disappoints! I recommend every dish they have! My favorite is the smothered pork chops, Mac and cheese with greens of course. I pass the Telegraph location often, mostly when they first open. Everything is fresh and there is no long lines or wait time. One issue is the cornbread is not always fresh it may be a day old and you can tell. Other than that, 5 stars!

I travel to Detroit very often on business trips from Atlanta. The motor city Redford location is my GO TO SPOT. I have tried many restaurants throughout the metro area and this one takes the cake!!! The food is GREAT seasoned well and tender. The customer service is good, friendly staff. One person in particular SIDNEY she always welcoming positive and attitude is full of energy. 🤩 I encourage anyone who’s looking for a good soulfood spot to definitely GIVE THIS LOCATION A TRY!!!! They’re GOOD👍 -Spaghetti is amazing!!! -Meatloaf great!!! -Candied Yams the bomb!!!!!!!

I have visited this new location twice already and both times I was very pleased with the offerings. The baked wings is my favorite. I also like the veggie plate which comes with four sides...Food is seasoned just right and everything taste fresh. I will definitely be back.. Thanks for opening this location in this area.. We needed it.

This has become our go to spot on Sundays after church! Their portion sizes are the best around! Their food is always delicious and hot! Depending on what time you go the line can be out the door. Somehow we always manage to get there right on time. Some say it’s costly but I’ve always been one to pay for good food so I don’t mind. Give them a shot if you’re in the area.

I ordered the fried chicken wing dinner with a side of macaroni and cheese and dressing, also for dessert peach cobbler and everything was delicious! Food was prepared with cleanliness the burst of flavor was phenomenal probably the best macaroni and cheese I’ve had at any motor city me and my family will be returning again soon !

I love this place! They have vegetarian and vegan options which is always a plus! The greens, cabbage, black eyed peas and sweet potatoes are all vegetarian!! The ladies are always professional and friendly. The food was delicious and hot. I’ll be back for sure!!

Good service, large portions. I ordered oxtails, dressing with gravy, green beans, yams, and Peach Cobbler everything was delicious. They have a drive thru also!
